one man's experience.
i have owned 4 mercedes and 2 chryslers. the beckers in the benzes ranged from poor to acceptable. these are old cars: a 190sl, 230sl, 220seb, 280s. the 190 was ok for its day but only just. the 230's poohed bigtime. i picked the little sweetheart up at the factory turned on the fm and got nothing (only station i ever got reliabliy was the us army out of munich). hey, it's germany, no radio stations in 1966. got home and the us had shut down its stations too, even the ones the 190 got. replaced the becker with a cheap japanese thing and it's still working fine (radio and car).
the 280s was a '75 and the radio was better, but just OK.
the best radio i have had is in my current chrysler, '97 concorde, and it is excellent and has cd and tape.
now my point is your crossfires are dcx and could have great, and i assume, inexpensive radios from the chrysler line.
i don't own a crossfire. not for lack of wanting one. but if the your biggest problem is the radio...

 

The radio issue is a very old and dead issue!

DC will replace any radio that has the bad desplay. The TSB came out in December.
