well i think most of you members can agree with me, we all hate purchasing new cars from dealerships with trade ins.

well it was a typical saturday morning when my father decides he wants to trade in his old pacifica. he washed it all up and everyting. he saids hes interested in the audi tt quattro and the 350z (which he wanted to check out because he owned the old twinturbo one and wanted to see what the new one had to ofer). now our pacific is no standard pacifica, we bought it full loaded with some aftermarket parts and rims; so my father wasnt gona be bullshit with some cheezy offer for it. well he tests drives the new z and loves it right. we decide on a black touring roadster with some aftermarket rims for 41 grand.

the next step was the trade in negotiation for the trade in, my father wanted at least 30 -32 k for his car because we bought it when it first came out for 41k with markup not including aftermarket and it had a very decent milage on it: 8k miles. well they giev us bullshi^t about our car with 0% adn rebates and offer us 19k, this really pissed my father off taht he told the sales men that this was impossible because how could he lose over 20k in sixmonths for a highly equiped vehicle. so we tell him to go check and find another bid for our car so he comes back with 24k and then 28k. i hate how dealerships are alwayings giving us low bids on our car and my dad who has eperience with trade ins having owned aound 50 cars in his lifetime always in every trade in has to fight for a decent price. of course my father didnt want to settle. since they were playing dumb with us by giving us bullshit about not knowing our cars value, my father decides to play dumb with them and lower their cars price. well the negotiation lasted for a bout 3 hours and we didnt decide on a trade on because our uncle was in desprite need of a nice lux car that we called him up and sold it to him for 35k and bought the z.

ok, im a auto xfire owner and ive driven a few cars with stick. when i drove my fathers z i notice when i was changing vetween gears that the gear shift **** had so much vibration and noise that it turned out to be a distraction after a while. i was wondering if the stick xfire was like this since i ve never driven stick on a xfire. the z doesnt feel as fast as my fathers old twin turbo because it doesnt have that big peaky rush. over all i think the z is a great resurection from its previous version, it has some things i wish my xfire would have , and the z is missing some things the crossfire has.

i think the z is a great car, but the price for the options we gor on our roadster is rediculous compared to what the crossfire has for 6 k less.
