I am driving across the country to see places that I have never been to before. So when I stop to take pictures of the scenery, I inevitably take a picture of my car as well. These were taken just south of Big Sur on the way to Monterey.

Every time I see your or ACrispy's backside (man that sounds horrible) it makes me think about tinting my lenses darker like both yours. Do you have any issues with lighting or lack of seeing it? I have LEDs in my brake lights, so it should be no problem, but just wondering....

I originally had the vinyl tint (almost impossible to have it completely smooth with no bubbles). Since then I had them professionally tinted. While they look dark in the pictures, they allow the light to shine through easily. I would equate them to the older Trans Ams that had the tinted lenses.

The vinyl did not allow as much light through and looked more like a haze over the lights.

Thanks for the info, I do not have the 'haze' effect on mine. A friend I used to work for in a tint shop has been doign windows on custom cars for over 20 years and there is no one better, he did mine and they lay down pretty damn smooth. Not perfect, but as close as you can be.

So I take it your tint is spray on and permanent?

Rudy,
Been staring at your great shot for a while now.

Let me know when you are tired of diving that thing. I want it.

Franc, thank you for the compliment on the photo. Took me a while to get that perfect shot. Also, it will be a good long time before I grow tired of this car... and you're about the 10th person that's made me that offer.

Take care

C'mon guys I can't believe no one has asked Rudy about this picture.

Does no one else see anything different about Rudy's rear end (I mean his six)? I know what's different in this picture who will ask him the question???

Stay safe...

Respectfully,

Paul (MisterTaz)
