Default whats under back hatch floor ?
Can anyone tell me what the empty spot is on the right side floor ! Looks like something is missing ! On the otherside theres the jack & handle & pump & tire fill ! Whats the empty spot on the right ????? Thanks !!! Anyone????

The safety triangle, flares, etc. go there on the European models. There's been some discussion on this before.

hmmm. never thought about spraying some good corn squeezins into the TB and intake! Now that just might be a performance mod.

My Cross came with jumper cables in that compartment, brand new ones still in a sealed bag and not the real cheap kind either.

My tire repair kit:
Needle Nose pliers
Tire plugs
Rubber cement
Plug install tool

and a few other tools

Good place for a fire extinguisher, tough to get at maybe but worth it. I have got a small one there, if you want you could always put some marshmallows there instead.

tire repair kit,gloves and flash light, a towel and a folding matt for getting on the ground EVERY NOW AND THEN MY 50 CAL.DESSERT EAGLE.

One and only is spot on. It's a great place for tire repair kit, shop towels, and any small tools you might need.

Great Suggestion, VALKRYDERGUY, I will put same in storage area, along with my portable electric air compressor, and a good tire guage

Hey Big Al, don't you have a compressor in the tire repair kit on the left side? I might have to look closely at mine but I thought the tire repair kit on the left could also inflate the tire if it needs a little air. Now you got me wondering if I need another one in there.

Yes, there is a small compressor with the car, but It does not look like it could handle the job at hand, I did not want to be stranded somewhere with a leaking tire, and not be able to get enough air in it.
I bought a more powerful one at Costgo for $25 just in case
