brief customer satisfaction survey
Got mine four months ago, would do it again in a second. I am an extremely practical person, and I just had to have the damn thing after I took a look at it. I'd do the same dealer again, but I don't have any loyalty. They're just a go between as far as I'm concerned.

By the way, did you read my thread elsewhere about my Five Star treatment on the radio switch out? Last Saturday, the Service Manager was going to give Chrysler a bell on Monday and "get to the bottom" of the tool difficulties they were having. Guess what? Eight days later, no phone call. I can get a Five Star reaming a lot closer to my house, so I think I'll throw these clowns on the trash heap even though they're my selling dealer and dying to give me "preferred" treatment.
To be fair, the snacks at Customer "Appreciation" Night were mighty tasty.
Got mine Dec 3, 2004.
2300 miles. No problems. Like most people here, I knew more about the car than dealer. They're small and do provide good service, however. I also bought my '04 Durango 4x4 (Yep, it's a HEMI) from them. So I would buy again from them. The only thing is I would consider is going with an automatic next time. It's hard to drive, talk on the phone and drink coffee at the same time

Purchased Dec. 27, 2003, 3200 mi, mostly on a trip to Florida. Have one problem (thumping simular to a back fire when stopped at a light -- service notified and waiting for me to bring it in)
AS TO Fitting GOLF Bags in car. I would not buy the car until I was able to get my clubs in the car. They will fit if you place the business end of the clubs including the driver (King Cobra) up on the shelf at the back of one of the seats. (this takes some careful placement until you find the key to the fit) Then angle the bottom end of the bag toward the other side of the opening, it will just fit into the well. It fits low enough that you can still see behind the passenger seat and out the side window.
I was able to include my luggage (all three pieces) and various other items in with the golf clubs lying across on top towards the back seats. It is almost a natural area to place the clubs when carrying luggage. -- IMF101, PROWLER39 and WMichaels, let me know if this helps. Ed
PS (I keep my rain cover on the clubs to protect my interior)

You guys got a "Customer Appreciation Night" with free chow??? Cool.
My 5-star dealer just called to ask how everything was and if I had filled out the Chrysler survey ...
One month and 1,700 miles and yes, I would buy this car again and probably from the same dealer. My previous dealer was trully a 5-Star -- Windward Dodge in Kaneohe, HI.
As for things in the back, we wouldn't buy the XFire, either, until we knew my wife's wheelchair would fit -- It's a Quickie II Adult Sport and it fits in there perfectly (foot pegs have to come off, but that's quick).
Great car, good dealer. I'm a happy man. Got the 6-speed to DRIVE! I can yap on the phone or drink coffee LATER.
See ya out there! And be sure to wave back. Saw my first other XFire on the road yesterday morning -- the Doofus didn't wave back. Jerk.
