Bought my Blaze Red Crossfire today
Been on this forum for months doing research and reading all your posts... had my heart set on a Crossfire for a year now, can't beat the value...
Brought home an 06 w/ 13500k that wasn't sold until August of 07, so I still have the original manufactures' warranty. It was Pre-Owned Certified, and I bought the 8 year/100k mile MaxCare warranty (The maximum coverage offered). I know I paid to much for it
but I wanted the peice of mind that comes with a pre-owned vehicle.
Love it... nothing on the road looks like or looks as good as the classically art deco styled Crossfire. Limited Trim with two-tone leather option... everything I could possibly want! I come from a long line of VW's (pretty much all I have ever driven) and I have to say... german cars drive alike (IMHO anyway), which is a good thing. However... The VWs I drove had a bunch of features I found myself missing today
and I really had to work on shifting smoothly... the added power, easier reving motor, and extra gear seemed to throw me off
Look forward to participating here! CrossfireForum is an awesome resource.

I've driven sticks for over 5 years now.. I honestly don't know what my problem is lol. I do wish the shifter was a bit more weighted as they seem to be in VWs...
Congrats and welcome. I've driven alot of different sticks, and yes, this one took me awhile to get the hang of also. These cars seem to like the higher RPMs when shifting, so, good luck.
Congrats... on your new Blaze Red Crossfire. Not everyone can look good in Red like we do. Thats why FP had to settle for black
Welcome aboard!!!!I have to admitt I did not know they painted a Crossfire" P T Cruiser red" I thought they all came black. Sorry,,,Was that out of line,,,Truth is I could not afford the red one.

Congrats on the new car. We were going to look at a blaze red for my son when we were seduced by a closer 2007 machine gray. The XFs do not shift as nicely as the VAG products -- I have an A6 and an A4 and both shift like butter.
yes red color does make the cars faster than any other !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Been there done that !!!!!!! Just cant beat a hot red crossfire whith a hot blonde driving it !!!! Just ask the wife !!!!!!!
Haha... Blaze red wasn't my first choice, but now I wouldn't have it any other way... originally wanted a black one but... I have to agree the Blaze is faster
I'm still having trouble shifting... I think I have to learn to give it more gas. Goldwing, I agree 100%. The shifter does feel "rubbery" to me like it is mentioned in most reviews... compared to our VWs. I better get the hang of this soon... it's getting embarrassing
