I got mine the other day on a lease for $299/mo for 39 months with $2500 drive off. Deal of the century if you ask me. So anyone looking for a second one, Chrylser has the new deal until end of march for $299/month and I wheeled and dealed to get them to throw in the auto stick and tire upgrade for free. Check the chrysler website for details under crossfire.

Default WHOA!!

Now you got a heck of a deal. The numbers dont even add up on that one. I might trade mine in and get something else so that I dont feel robbed.

How easy do you folks that lease find it to drive consistently 12K or whatever mileage is allowed per year in your lease? I would find myself either struggling at the end of the lease to avoid going over the limit, or would end up driving around the neighborhood in circles to make sure I got my money's worth (which in the crossfire would at least be fun).

I drive about 20k miles per year, give or take a few thousand. But the Crossfire will only get driven 2/3 of the time, so keeping it under 12k/year shouldn't be a problem. The Cherokee will get driven the rest of the time.

heb80,

i think having a second car can make the lease more convenient from the perspective of getting the best value from the lease. it seems that many people either overshoot their mileage limitation, and pay additional or have to buy the vehicle, or drive considerably less than the limit, and pay for something that they didn't use. my father is quite frugal and he returned the only vehicle he ever leased with about 2 miles under the limit. but he also had the advantage of a second vehicle in the family that was not leased to take up the slack.

If I had leased the car I would prob. be writing a check for somewhere around 6.2K when the lease was up. based on $0.20 per mile over 12K a year. At the rate I am putting on miles I would have 70K miles at the end of a 39 month lease

I guess leases are OK, if you like to turn the cars over quickly. I like to keep them for at least 5 years, so I purchase.

Total cost of car was $39K with tax, title, and extended service agreement. Put down $15K got $10K for trade in, financed about $14K for 24 months at $630.00 per month.

Only 19 payments to go!!!!

That's a bit hard to believe. If you got that kind of deal that dealer had to lose his butt.
