Default Blue smoke

A question for the forum. Recently at start up, there is a brief puff of blue smoke. it is a 2005 with 3200 (yes 3200) miles. bought in 2007 with 34 on it. Recent oil change at a new dealer since Chrysler closed my usual dealer..any way, oil on dip stick is of the max amount. Could this be from overfill???? .........did a search on the forum but did not find an answer to this question.

I know this can be caused by oil dripping into the cylinders from bad valve seals but sure hope that is not the problem.

Thanks guys and GREAT forum.

I quess it could be blow-by....don't want to over fill the crankcase though....I don't think there is reason to be concerned at this point

I also have a 2005 that was purchased in '07 with 34 miles on the clock - but it now has just over 11,000 miles on her..... lots of time to enjoy this car in always summer SoCal

I've had just a couple of instances of a small amount of blue smoke on start up, but each time is coincidental to moving the car from the garage to the driveway on a cold engine, then shutting down and starting again within maybe 15 minutes or so. I also don't recall seeing this happen at all in the past year and a half or so.
