I think its great that he is getting a copy of the service manual. I would love to have one and know the info on my unique car. Besides, he might need to know the info so he can hint to the mechanics how to service somthing besides a PT Cruiser or Sebring. Besides the Crossfire is probably pretty foreign to the typical Chrysler tech (Being a Mercedes and all). Im sure only a handfull of techs go to the Crossfire training, am I wrong?
Hey, how large is the PDF file??

I have said it before.. And I will say it again. If you take your car in to a dealer- INSIST a crossfire certified tech works on your vehicle. And you are correct.. Only a select few are certified to work on your Crossfire. In my shop, out of 12 technicians, only 2 are Crossfire certified.
I got the manual today. It it's got all 3,307 pages. The CD has a Green label with 2004 at the top w/ Chrysler wing logo below. Below that is written... SERVIVE MANUALS and below that... DIAGNOSTIC MANUALS... Then at the very bottom it has... Diamler-Chrysler Corporation. It also has an Automotive Youth Educational Systems PROUD PARTNER seal.
It works for me!!!

I have to admit that I ordered one also. I asked about it at my dealer, and they told me they could not order it, but gave me an 800 number to call. I started to get the run around, so I just said to forget it.
The label on this CD looks like it was printed on an inkjet printer from a scanned image of the original. The image is not very crisp. But the manual does seem to be complete. I am sure D/C will not be happy about this.....
