best ideal yet
ok guys so i have been thinking about this ideal for a while and id like to get your opinion on this ideal.
I think because are cars are very hard to work on and great car mechanics are far and few between, i think it would be a great ideal if some one "the club" put to gather a book of common problems are cars have. I no what ur thinking great ideal right, right. I think it would be handy for us to have a how to book with common problems like the rust at the bottom of the doors, the Intercooler pump "srt6", the Mystery no Start just to name a few. This could be some thing sponsored by the club.

This, along with a list of the more asked-about part numbers would be a very nice thing to have as a sticky or something.
Just a thought. I don't have the time. Who does?

Interesting idea. The time and effort to mine all the data and organize it would be monumental. The advanced search function has helped me often. A couple of drop-down boxes with standard naming conventions when posting a technical issue would be helpful in standardizing terminology and simplifying searches. I could go for that and it would be fairly simple to establish.

Using ideal instead of idea just makes your post incomprehensible.
Ideal - noun - a standard of perfection or excellence.
adjective - regarded as perfect of its kind. (This spot is an ideal location for our summer cottage)
Idea - noun - any conception existing in the mind as a result of mental understanding, awareness, or activity.
noun - a thought, conception, or notion. (That is an excellent idea you had about using a lift to do the oil change on the car.)
There's a bit of a difference in the usage of the two words.
As for your idea of putting all the common issues on one location, in essence, that sounds like a good idea, but in actuality, that will only cause people to worry about the car unnecessarily. People who are considering buying one might be scared off if they see this large list of troubles.
For the most part, the Crossfire is a car that has a few smaller issues, but occasionally you run across one that is possessed by a dark cloud, like Bat's car.

So are we getting closer apart on our consensus or should we disgust this until we are further together and our ideal becomes reality?
