Just a thought. I don't have the time. Who does?
In the ideal world we would have threads with the solutions to the common car problems and a list of Chrysler part numbers and the matching Mercedes part numbers which are mostly much cheaper.
It has gone unnoticed by many that the parts list exists, it was started last September by Valk. The numbers are slow in materializing because the existence of the list is largely unknown by many members.
The list was an idea (ideal ?) I had, others may have had a similar one and it was acted upon by Valk.
https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...t-numbers.html
So get with the program and submit those part numbers.
PS
There is a spell checker as well.

What the hell is wrong with people now-a-days? If you have trouble spelling/typing, please review your post before submitting it.

You do realize everything you're asking for can be found in this forum. What's the point of creating a book no one will buy? Stick around the forum, create relationships, and you'll never have trouble fixing your car.

I'm sorry, I didn't realize you couldn't read either. I'll repost my last statement.

The cars is a Mercedes R170 SLK 320/32, so there will always be a forum about this motor/transmission for you to use.

Another thing you can do is copy the threads and back them up on your computer. That way if this site dies, and the all mighty CICCI can't resurrect it with their awe inspiring influence on the owner, you will have the information you require stored on your hard drive, for your own convenience.
