At over 2.25 a gallon for premium here in So Cal I have been running regular 87octane in mine at the bargin basement price of 2.00 a gallon :shock: I haven't heard it ping once, I am sure I will go back to premium or at least the mid grade when (or if) the prices come down.

The onboard computer can be changed to allow you to run 89 octane. I've been running this way for a couple of months and I don't see any problems. I don't see any obvious changes in performance and my gas mileage is about the same.

1.69 to 1.79 here in atlanta have only put prmium in mine thought about midgrade but would only consider as top off at halk a tank or more

you spent 35k on a two seater car...

don't start saving pennies now...you bought the crossfire knowing premium fuel is required....so use it. :!:

Lancaster, today I paid $2.45, just another benefit of living in Cailifornia. Fifth generation , might be one of the last.
