Default Crossfire forum saves the day...again

I was at work comparing my 04 Xfire to a friends 04 C230 when I began to explain the airbox to him. So I showed him the airbox, how it works, and that was the end of that....the next day as I went to lunch I came to a stop light and noticed my car had a rough idle. The panic that came across my face was almost instant, but then I realized I'd just put a quick search on the site to see what some common problems are. I would have never thought that I didn't latch down the airbox properly (seeing as how I've removed it many of times now). Thank you again crossfire forum and you're helpful members for helping me narrow down this simple problem!

Now to just fix the TPMS system since I have aftermarket wheels and not the original stems anymore...currently doing the black tape method!

I could not get my TPMS light to go out. Ended up taking it back to the dealer and they had to perform a "re-learn" for the TPMS system. Whether that's BS or not, it is working now. Covered under warranty. The bad part is my warranty runs out in 3 weeks.

Good Luck. Your X-fire looks good.

lol you got the same rims as me. guess us crossfire guys have the same tastes. the TPMS doesn't bother me. not hard to monitor the tire pressure myself. i feel better that way anyways
