WOW! That engine is beautiful. Any helpful hints on how to get mine looking that way? My motor only has 6k on it, but it is getting a bit dusty. What should I do? If I hose it down, what components need to be protected?

Thanks!

Monty

I cleaned the engine while installing the CAI. After installation I sprayed it off with water & drove it until dry. I then covered the belt & sprayed it with CD2, let it set for 15 minutes & then wiped any excess that was left. Hoped this helps ya.

CD2 is a great product but kinda hard to find. I had to get mine through a Corvette club. At one time I did own one so it was kinda like a "white lie" . Great stuff. Racehorse like your CAI, I have the same on mine, I need to post pics in my gallery. I see you were bugged by that hole in the engine cover (passenger side) as well. I found a plastic (PVC) pipe cap that fit in that hole nicely and looks like it belongs there, quite a few people are using the center cap idea, I wanted something a little more generic. Pics to follow.

Can't reminder where I got my CD2, but have two cans. Had no problem getting it. Ordered it off an Internet Site. The Mercedes-Benz cap fit well into the hole so I used it. The CAI from Needswings is awesome looking, I love the color. Look forward to seeing yours.
