The first good thing in a while worth watching on DCTV..
Hey CFT- Have you received your 300c yet? We still have not received ours, but the sales staff and mangement went on a ride and drive demo.. Everyone came back wide eyed with stories of driving sideways!! The best I have had so far is seeing them at the training center. Very nice indeed.

Jamikest,No 300c yet.Our in house chrysler engineer was supposed to get one early from detroit. He said their having trans cooler line problems(blowing off).I did hear they have a new Aero blue xfire at the NY training center and 300c model.
We had our ride and drive here in Dallas this week. I should have purchased stock in tires. The guys figured out a way to override the stability / traction control to get a feel for what that hemi really does!
Ever seen tires start to melt asphalt? Goes from white smoke to yellow. Smells bad too!

DFWSBR.... Can you find out what they did?
Maybe the same thing or something similar can be done to the Crossfire to trick it. I think that's the answer to being able to run this car on a dyno.
I would love to be able to get some real numbers.

That doesn't do it completely. It automatically resets it's self at a certain speed and it still looks at the front wheels to see if they are rolling. If not forget trying to get any kind of run on a dyno. It won't go over about 3,200 rpm. And try to do a smoky burnout.... You can't it will break loose but that's it. Even with the traction control off. I don't know if it works the same with the 6 speed, but that's what happens with the 5 speed.
It was on the 300c, but I'll ask around and try to see what they did to disable it.
As for the CF auto, I've lit them up at a light just doing a simple break torque. They will roast til the light changes. With traction control off that is.
Glad I got the 6spd  I couldn't afford to buy tires all the time like that!

Thanks... It's worth a shot.
With the Auto... I do all my autocrossing with the traction contol off. There was too much lag when acceleratiing out of a corner. When you launch the car with it off it will break the tires loose then it resets the traction control back to on.

Just saw the SRT6 and conv. xfire on Speed channel Autorotica show. They were at the Geneva auto show and did a nice piece on the SRT6.They showed under the hood and all around a 2005 Aero blue conv. They went from the Crossfire to the new Lotus Elise....The show went down hill from there.
crossfiretech, After I saw the lotus I was just about ready for bed. Then I thoght I would rather puke. Then I started drinking again and now I think this thing looks okay!! But what a piece of crap in the end!!!

Yo Krusty,
You know, you are 100% right!!!
That was downtown Phoenix going north on Central Ave past BOB after you come out from under the small over pass. The oneway street scences were on Washington or Jefferson. The road scene is definitly the road up to south Mountain and the scene showing the car parked was shot at the parking area looking down on Ahwatukee which is between the top of the mountain and the towers viewpoint.
A very good catch!!! How come your not out driving your XFire today????

Too bad I couldn't have rented a Crossfire one-way for that trip!
