Driving back from my son's camp last night, I hit another rain storm coming through Baltimore (it's like a trend) and forgot my previous related experiences in the rain. I opened my window a bit and got a foot full of water...Keep the windows closed in the rain, but the car handled beautifully in the wet. I have Conti's on my XF.

Build number = the last 6 digits of your VIN.
Example: Mine is 056182 or the 56,182nd Crossfire built.

The 10th VIN digit denotes model year. Mine is a 5 for 2005.

If you open the driver's door and look at where it latches to the body, you will see a sticker with your build date on it. I believe mine is 03/05 for March 2005.
