I did manage to track the guy down at the wedding. Since I am new to the X-Fire world I thought it would be good to pick the guys brain. Unfortunately he was relatively clueless about the car. Didn't seem to know much about it other than he liked the Sapphire Blue with the red interior. It wasn't very clean and I hate to go on about this but the mismatched tires really did me in.

I know this is an old and long thread but in the past some members have wondered what the earliest build number for the crossfire. I went to this web site http://www-5.chrysler.com/webselfservice/chrysler/index.jsp?screenName=recall&country=us&emailUrl=go ToEmailForm%28%27R%27%29 and started putting in some early vin numbers and the earliest number it would accept is 4x000014 then iskips to 17,20,22,23 and continues to skip numbers as it counts up. I don't know if these numbers are from North America only and the missing numbers are from Europe or why would they skip numbers. I thought this interesting. By the way in an earlier post in this thread somebody posted they saw number 14.

I'm brand new to this forum and a new Crossfire owner . . . actually it's a previously owned '04 model, but I love it sooooo much & have had both a base Solstice & a Solstice GXP in the past.

Anyway, not to sound dense, but where do I look to find my build number?

Thanks!
