Angry Glove box fix??

Hello there. I climbed over the center console and my center console box lid wont stay down. I cant see anything thats broken, and its driving me nuts. I need help on this. Is this a common problem (broken console lid)?

If you mean the cup holder then that is a common problem. A lot of members remove it and replace it with a simple bin that can be purchased at some dealers. Do a search on this problem.

The glovebox and the center console storage bin are 2 different things. Which are you talking about?

Your first post on this forum was about the cup holder lid kept popping up, now its the center console lid or glove box, which is actually in front of the passenger seat on the dash.
Forgive me if I seem a little lost.

The only thing I could think of is make sure that nothing you have inside is blocking it from closing. Mine doesn't close all the way if I have too much stuff in there. If you don't have anything blocking it and it still won't close, I couldn't think of what it could be. Anyone else know what could be the problem? I have a feeling this could be something fairly simple.

How much does it pop open?
Does the latch catch at all?
Is the hinge bent?
You have to help us here.
A photo would help.
