Trying to find the best all season tires for the front wheels 225/40ZR18, Does anyone know what the best brand for all season tires would be to buy? And from where?

 

I've personally not used them as I've not had to replace my tires but all my car buddies seem to have great experiences with Tire Rack.

 

I am pleased with my continental extreme contact DWS's on the front and would recommend them. they have been on 2,000 miles so I cant tell you too much about tread life.

 

Tire Rack does generally have good prices and a pretty decent inventory on hand. What they don't have in stock they can usually get shipped to them in a few days.

As far as recommending a particular tire, I have Kuhmo Ecsta Sports on year round and they treat me just fine, but I live downtown and don't really have to drive in a lot of snow. From what friends of mine have said, the Continentals are a good tire, though.

 

I don't know a great deal about car tires but I've heard some really good things about Hankook* tires. I've got the original Continentals. I don't think the performance justifies the price. Good hunting.

Yes use the search funtion and look around, there has been a lot of talk on tires here in the forum, be prepared to spend some cash though, these tires for our cars are not always cheap. But are deals out there if you look around and yes a lot of members mention and use Tire Rack.

You should go with the Continental DW = DRY and WET

or the Continental DWS DRY WET AND SNOW

They are the best, anyone else trying to get you different tires...... do not listen

They are the best right now on the market and not too expensive, even if now tirerack increased the prices like crazy, you could get the front for 100 bucks/tire and now it went up to $130..
30% more but still a good deal for the best tires ever
