If you are maintaining the car properly, there is no reason to doubt a long trip in it.

(And that goes for cars OTHER than Crossfires, too.)

Yeah have a tire plug and know how to do it, which is very simple.

When I bought mine in Vermont, I drove it back to Texas.in 1 days and 20 hours by myself

So your 3 hours trip should not be a problem at all

Have fun

I learned how to plug a tire on my lawnmower. I'd never thought about fixing a tire myself, but one day I got a nail in the lawnmower tire and it was leaking fast. Local stores had no tire, so I got a plug kit - as a last resort. Worked, still have that tire in the mower, 4 years later.

THen, one day had the same problem with the truck... thought, "Hmmm, what if..." I intended that repair as a temporary ..... but ended up plugging several truck tires over a few years and never had a problem.

I carry a complete tire plug kit, including extra cement and some cutters to cut the excess off in the car - along with, of course, the air pump that came with the car.

Fact is, after 33 years of driving, only ONCE have I had a tire go out anyway. I hit some piece ofmetal and it sliced the tire. Other than that, never had a "blowout" or even a case where a tire went down quickly anyway.

But carry a flashlight and cellphone anyway ... and certainly so if you are going to travel at night.

Cool Re: going to PA

Also to go along with the plug kit, a pair of needle nose pliers.

In addition to that tire plug YOU should probably carry a spare drain plug also!

Keep an eye out for other XFs and flash them or wave. I've made three trips from SW Michigan to CT over the years and never gave a thought to a flat, knock on wood. These cars love to cruise at highway speeds and I'm convinced it's good for them, too.
