follow up to belt removal

Default follow up to belt removal

Ok, pretty easy(very actually). No need for a e10 torx(bought one anyway). There is a "nut" to the left of the tensioner pulley. Put end wrench on the nut and turn/torque left. Tension removed, pull belt off, release pressure on wrench. Took the alternator out through the top but didnt remove the fans, still plenty of room. Overall, very easy. Ordered a "rebuilt valeo through advanced auto $200 with a lifetime warranty.

You must have the newer style tensioner.... mine doesnt have that 'nut'.... just the torx that holds the pulley on....I have seen pics of the one you have....much better design...
