Mine will need to be restored one day, I can tell from the way I drive and use it. I'll probably be buying something from him somewhere down the road.

Since parts on these cars are so hard to find... Maybe one day you will need a part and I will sell it to you at a high price.
I don't have a lot of parts and i didn't pay a lot for them. Just picked them up here and there cheap. For example... The ac blower switch is known for crapping out. The part is 800 dollars. I bought an extra for 50 because i know it will break again one day. Already replaced it twice under warranty within 5 years. I am sure there will be a third time and i won't have a warranty.
Call me crazy.... Or just prepared.

Congrats on your new Crossfire!!! Mine is an O4 and I love it. Mine will be coming up on my first yr anniversary of ownership this December. I checked mine out pretty well before purchasing, but you will find things in time you missed at first, but like everyone here will tell you, the good out weighs the bad. I've put 8,000 miles on mine driving it everyday to work. I get more compliments on this car than any car I have owned before (Corvettes, BMW's,MIGs,Jag and others). There will be some challenges along the way, but it's going to be a nice ride for a long time to come. And... you don't see a Crossfire everyday but you get to drive one as often as you like!!!!

Thanks!
I am really enjoying the car. It does stand out.
The current todo list on the car is:
* Repair the cigarette lighter
* Buff and wax the car.
* Put a foam lumbar cushion under the leather in the driver's seat. I found a thread on that one. Looks a little strange but it will fell so much better.
* The headliner is coming loose just by the driver's visor. Abot a 1/2" strip along the windshield.
I bought it to drive as my work car but the thought of it sitting in the sun most of the day is bothering me.
I am thrilled with the performance, looks, gas mileage, conditon, and the fact that the wheels have NO CURB RASH. What a miracle.
Thanks again for the information and well wishes.

That is how the headliner starts to come loose. Get ready to fix it because it will get worse real soon. I give it a year. But you can have it done professionally for 140. I had a guy in San Antonio do it. Thing will never fall down again.
