Default TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT ON !

okay Im not feeling too comfortable with all these lights going on. First the oil light is on now the tire pressure light is on plus everyone annoying seatbelt light. I was wondering about the Tire Pressure Light though. It came on this morning when i started my car. I didnt try to put air in it yet.
WHAT IS THE CORRECT PSI TO PUT IN THE TIRES (Conntinentials) , and is there a tire pressure guage in the car somwhere?

Ohh and the oil light that is on the dealer said it is just some sensor, so now i have to bring it back again to get it fixed. Great.

I've seen on a few occasions, the tire light come on, if the pressure is low. This would be in the morning. After driving around for a few minutes, the heat will build up pressure and make it go out.

I believe the suggested PSI for front and rear is located on the drivers side door trim. Open the door and look.

Remember, the PSI ratings are for cold tires. Adjust when you haven't driven the car for a while.

If your tires are in range, then maybe you do have an issue with the sensor.

......

As for the oil pressure light? Scarry stuff. What does your electronic sensor say in the car? Have you checked the level with it? Maybe you are low!

Default TIRE PRESSURE

THe funny thing is that the tire light when on before driving. It came on when I started the car. THe temperature dropped about 10 degrees the most but thats about it. I am going to put some air in it when i find out the corrct amount, hopefully it will go away.

WHen i brought it for the oil light they said it was some sort of sensor, and the oil is fine and everything is fine just the light will stay until they get the piece in. So I have been driving it normal.

1. temp in your garage was warmer than it was outside?

2. Tire pressure is too high, causing the light to come on as it heated up while driving.

No offence to the dealer, but have you checked the oil yourself? I'm still curious to see what the electronic oil level indicator (on your dash) says the oil level is at.

I was talking about the electronic level check, not with the dipstick.

As for the tires, use a tire pressure gauge. Don't add air if it doesn't need it! They could be over filled as it is. The tire pressure system is very sensative, it could come on even if you are a few pounds off. With temp changes, usage, it will shoot up or down as much as 10psi!
