Default Vehicle Diagnostics: Rev

Does anyone here have experience with the Rev diagnostics program that runs through an iPhone or iPod Touch?

I should be getting an iPhone in the next week or so and thought that this might be a handy device to have and it looks pretty convenient. But I'd love to know how well this works with the crossfire. And what sort of hardware people are using.

Here's the website: DevToaster - Rev - iPhone app development, Great iPhone apps, and more

I have been wanting this along with the the kiwi WiFi for quite a while now. I think this will be on my Christmas list this year. I know there are a few people on here that use it. Check with Gramma_Benz or Eric, I know that they have used it.

I know DistantPulse has it for his iPhone and has used it while at the track on several occasions while I was there. If you are casually monitoring one item then it will work fine. However, Rudy (rcompart) pointed out to me that trying to pull multiple signals off of the ODBII port creates a decent bit of lag in the recording of the data (with any tool, not just Rev). So if you are trying to have very accurate data, it may not be the best for multiple data points on a single run or at a single time.
