I guess all the SRT owners can say, "Yeah, it's got a Heli".

Good article.

First of all he was wrong... the SRT did not come in a stick shift (as we all know).

My only issue is that I keep hearing people say the interior is ugly or cheap. I remember back in 2005 I was looking at the new model Mustang. Then I went right next door and looked at the crossfire. The interior of the crossfire blew me away. It was 10 times nicer than the Mustang. The Mustang interior looked like a pile of plastic crap. I also saw the new Camaro interior and the Challenger interior. Not impressed at all. The Crossfire has a much nicer interior than most American cars on the road today as far as I am concerned. All these people that are "not crazy" about the crossfire interior must be blind!

By the way, at the time I was test driving the new remodeled mustang. A V6 convertible (but I really wanted the GT and everyone was sold out at MSRP). I think the price of the convertible Stang was 26K and the dealership said "the price is the price"... so I told him that was their problem and walked out. Walk next door to Chrysler and was blown away. At the time they were doing "employe discounts" and automatically lowered the base coupe down to 27K without having to negotiate. For 27K I could get the base coupe with more style and smoother looks (with a Mercedes engine). Apples to apples no comparison. High quality German Crossfire to a crappy American plastic common Mustang. To me that sounded like a deal.

When you read these various reviews you sometimes wonder where they get their facts from. With the way some bad info is repeated in various reviews I think they plagiarize other peoples work and repeat the same mistakes.
Sometimes these guys come off as morons who fail to do their homework.

I am in full agreement on the interior.I covered the ugly silver plastic on dash and console with a wood grain aftermarket kit. On the SRT6 I used carbon fiber. Gary
