You were just trying to make a point... that the SRT would be more valuable than the normal crossfire. Specialty vehicles like the SRT usually do and that was your point. Somehow it turned into a pissing contest. But I understand your original point...

P.S. Teachers and coaches are indeed the most important professions for our future.

my wife and i love our education jobs. yeah, they're a lot of work but we worked hard to get where we're at and work hard to keep it that way. we're grateful that we make what we do and we can afford to garage four of our cars (work car is an '07 scion tc, it's the odd one out). all that misinformation you read (dealer lots, elements, blah, blah) keeps on being perpetuated by those uninformed. you see, most srt-6's were in the showroom for the first couple of years. the dealers aren't stupid. why put a 47k car (in many cases, their most expensive) out in the elements? i've gotten into a handful of "pissing contests" with members here who just don't know what they're talking about. i suppose the best advice i could give people here is to look at the .pdf's and tech pix/videos and thank the people who made them. then, buy an issue of sports car market. best of luck to everyone and take care. i think i'll join a veyron forum since that's what i really want.

Ever thought you got into these pissing matches because you interject personal barbs and inuendo about others financial situations, of which you know nothing.
Good luck with the veyron, I will be right here trying to help other members with our crappy non collectible NAs.

We are all adults and friends here, you were the one who started the condescending posts.
You set yourself up, don't you see that?

We are all guilty of writing stuff on here that is offensive. Big deal!

And when I am blowing past them at 130 MPH they will think different. Just because he feels the non srt models will be worthless in the future you are mad. Give me a break!

I think most people took his statement ..... "many people like myself who collect special interest cars have something called discretionary income. this website has a few, for us, warranties, ps2's, maintenance, etc. are pocket change. i'm diversified just like everyone else. only, i can afford to buy two srt-6's and keep them in proper storage and drive them when i want." ...... to be a little condensending, whether it was meant to be or not. I do think it's a bit ridiculous to think there's a "stalker vibe" from others just expressing their opinions, which is precisely what he did.
Oh well, back to what matters.

I take a lot of ribbing here and have a lot of fun with it - so I don't think I take things too seriously, but maybe you are right: perhaps I do.
I was actually just confused on what the hell he was talking about. The lack of punctuation, bad grammar, misspellings... all of it gave me a headache. I'll get on anyone's case for that, especially if they're a teacher. Maybe he does know grammar well, how to spell things, and where to put an f'ing comma, but the fact that he doesn't use those skills when he types is beyond me.
I thought this was about the future collectible value of a crossfire. OK; I think this may be about differing opinions, not what the future brings.
For those of you who offer information; thanks!
For those of you who are condescending to others because you cannot see their point of view-----Whatever!
For what it's worth; I don't really care! I'm keeping mine and at the end of the day I can't take the money with me.
So; I guess the argument has two sides.
If you want to ***** about my spelling or grammar, please send a corrected version!

and WTF is up with this stalker vibe BS, he makes it personal by talking about having $$$ and HE posted HERE that he was a teacher in his BIO. I guess I see how me doing the slightest bit of research (one right click, in fact) on the guy who is insulting me makes me the bad guy, good logic.
And with that, I am done.
Wow this thread is funny. This was my first time reading it because the member who started it is on my ignore list so I can't see any of his posts anyways but they do show up when quoted. My turn to whine and complain and babble on and on!
Let me throw 2 pennys out there!
I purchased my car cheap. $5000 plus a beat up 2wd pickup. So thats what mine is worth to me. As for being a collector item... Mine will never be sold again. It will end up in the scrappers one way or another probably sooner than later. I drive it and it shows. tires bald, stone chips, small door ding (hint hint). I love every minuet of it. If I wanted to go in the garage and look at a perfect crossfire everyday I would have a mural painted on the wall! I cant wait til I get older and purchace a "mint" crossfire srt6 for cheap off some kid who just inherited it from daddy. Untill then I just drive with a smile! well over 100,000 miles and counting
Ohh and boiler, if you and molly are stalking people that woule be AWSOME! I will send you my address and my work schedual. My bedroom is at the back of the house. I will leave the curtain open a little and a nightlight on!

I don't know who you are or why you blocked me. I don't have a clue what your issue is with me. I don't ever recall communicating with you so you must be whacked in the head.... no offense!

The Jesticle doesn't care how much "disposable income" one has, as it doesn't stop one from coming across as a total d0uche.
There are internet toughguys, internet spazzes and internet braggers... All of which make an appearance in this thread. Bravo!

I forgot to mention - anyone with "disposable income" can feel free to send it to my paypal account, and I will happily forward it on to several different children's charities. There are people who NEED food, shelter and clothing, much more than you need several unused vehicles.
Just a thought...

I have had lots of disposable income, which I managed to dispose of.
