Default Recieved two plugs-what are they for?

When I picked u my CF a week ago the salesman gave me a packet that came with the car. Part of the packet was a pair of black rubber plugs. The salesman didn't know what they were for. Any guesses?

The package should have had an instruction sheet with pictures, and the dealer should have installed the plugs for you. Dealer Prep.

The plugs go in the wheel well and fender.

I have the same package with the plugs, a grill for the front, windshield wipers, etc. I didn't know what to do with it, especially since my car already seemed to have the grill in the front, the wipers on, etc. Beats me!

Does anyone have the picture that shows where these go? I looked under the car and could not find where they should go. My 5 Strikes dealer didn't put them in for me either. Oh well at least I had some air in the tires.

Thanks Andrew. BTW, how does the CF compare to the BMW you had? (also a real nice car)

Default compare

the M3 was fast and fun....until i was seeing 2-3 a day in my area.

i liked the added amenities of the M3 such as...memory seats, tilting passenger mirror, supportive seats, sport button & xenon lights...too name a few. but at 20k more than the crossfire this only makes sense.

the M3 is no comparison to the crossfire in the looks department imo. i welcome the change.

Default Plugs

Thanks for the heads-up on the plugs. I received my XF last Saturday and Sunday I tried to figure out where the plugs went. I looked at the sheet supplied with the car and figured that these must be extra since surely the dealer installed them during the prep phase of the car. D'OH! I assumed too much! After reading the forum a few minutes ago I went out and checked and sure enough, the plugs were not already installed as part of dealer prep. I went out and put them on in about 5 minutes.

Thanks for the help!
