Default Just hit 140mph

Then I **** myself worrying what if a copper clocked me so I easied off.

What's the best you lot have got out of it?

I always feel guilty cos it seems I'm trashing the hell out of it all the time. My neon did not like going over 100mph now it seems like the norm when cruising in the Crossfire.

The Crossfire is mechanically limited to 192 miles per hour (electronically limited to 148). 140mph is not going to harm it.

85mph. cause I already got 3 points, the car.
only has 400 miles on it, and I can't work without my license.

James not sure if UK car is electronically limited to 148. I think ours will be the same as most performance mercs and BM's which is 155mph.

would agree: ain't going to hurt the cars as tires and breaks are all speed rated, but it could really hurt in the courts if you get caught.

Once got it up to 147, and at another time [on my test ride] 135 mph.

i would be real interested in hearing how it does on the big track. i am curious how it lets you know it's getting on the edge at high speed. the few times i've been north of 110 or so it seemed to squat a bit and get even more stable. very solid, but then i didn't have to throw out the anchor or do any hard turns.

I thought it was easier to speed in the US or am I wrong?

Maybe 10 to 20 over the limit on the highways it's easy to speed, but not really to 100+ mph speeds. I've hit 120 in my car passing three 18 wheelers in a row on a two-lane road, but I hit the brake as soon as I got back in the lane. I believe in trying to keep the peace to some extent (although, at times that means breaking the law).

Yup, it's hard to break the law....just did 135 mph after I chipped my Crossfire last Saturday. Got my Solo2...checked the cars behind me and in front of me....then ZOOOOOM! I eased off as I'm climbing up on a hill where I can't see what's ahead of me    That's one of the best seconds I've had with my XFIREX
