Default Gawkers

I've been driving my crossfire for a week now, and had my first gawker. You know, when you leave it in the grocery store parking lot, come out and there's someone [usually a guy] talking on his cell phone telling someone what an amazing car he's looking at?

I had to open the hood and trunk for him. . .but I was flattered. 8)

You will find it convenient to carry a rag in the car to wipe off any drool that these gawkers may leave behind.

Too bad you're not a girl. The going rate for egg donation now is like $4,000.

I live in a small town of about 12,000 people in Northwest Arkansas and get plenty of gawkers and looker each and every day. I've only had the car for two weeks and everywhere I go there are people who stop and stare.

You know its a cool car when the Harley riders stop and star at it!

I really didn't think that it would generate this much attention. I've also discovered that the "car people" in the town are familiar with the vehicle, just have never seen one on the road.

The local dealer has three left on his lot and it looks like one of my friends is going to pick up a black one this evening.

Default Hey James I'll Put up a Few Dollars

Anyway Every Time I Go Out I Get Double Teamed ... You Know By the 40 SomeThing Guy Driving That Emasculated Kiddy Carriage or the OverSized Gas Guzzling S.U.V. It Never Fails. All You Single Middle Aged Women Take Note if You Want to Meet a Guy This is the Car to Drive. I'm Still Wating for a Woman to Approach. I Guess it's a little More Awkward if She's Not Able to Offer Any Kind of Intelligent Discourse on the Comparitive Value of the CrossFire Over the RX8. Literally This Car is a Magnet. Before You Buy Be Prepared to Become a Walking Ambassador for Daimler / Chrysler! They Really Should Offer Free Parts to Keep These Chariots in Top Condition! It Could Mean Hundreds of Future Sales.

 We stopped for gas last night. A guy in a BMW came up to us to see how we liked the car - he told us he had just bought the die-cast model of the Crossfire!!

On this one, I have to agree with AZ!!!!!

SSB is the way to go!!!!!!!

Except that mine (2476) is the best one, not 2815.

:?: :!: :?: We were accused of our Alabaster's not even being painted not so long ago, so shouldn't that be primer fumes in lieu of paint fumes :?:  :?:

The Crossfire is a work of art but SSB makes it a rolling masterpiece

Was leaving a meeting that was held at a golf resort and got to the parking lot where my XFire was parked next to a guy putting his clubs into the trunk of a CL500. When I unlocked the XFire, he said to me, "Nice car." I nodded to his $90K Mercedes and said, "Yours, too." He quickly replied, "I like yours better."

I was gonna offer to trade pink slips, but naaaah...I like mine better, too.

I'd have made that trade, much as I like my Crossfire, but only if I didn't get stuck with a payment on a $90k car :!:  :!: If the SL was paid off already...yeah baby :!: 8)

I went to the Benz dealership and they offered me $47.00 a month for 36 months on an SLK 32 AMG with my car as a trade in and a downpayment.

I thought that was very kind of them. You think I should have gone for it? I'm waiting on the BMW 4-Series to see what they can come up with. I'm more of a BMW person.

Is your current ride paid off? If not, sounds like the deal they're offering would have you completely paying off your RSX and giving it to them. That could be a big chunk of cash out of your pocket :!:
