What sparked that...... I've been here for a couple of weeks and find your posts to be on the up and up. Resourceful and helpful.

We need more of your fit and finish here on the forums!
sad to see you go.

Sorry you feel that way.

I suppose as a Crossfire Tech it must seem like we ask you to diagnose and fix all of our cars for free over the net. I for one have purposly not asked you or the other techs on this forum for direct advice, since you can not see my specific vehicle. But the reason that others do that to you is that in some cases owners have really been screwed by dealerships that think they can bluff their way around good service. It makes some of us a bit nervous and angry at times.

I hope that after a few weeks off, you may want to reconsider and check back in!

But if not, thanks for your contributions.

Crossfire Tech,

Seriously,

This board "is" fun and there are a great bunch of people here, even you and me.... We don't have to agree or even like each other. There is room for everyone here... no reason for you to leave!!!

Hang around, we may learn to grow on each other!!!

I'm asking everyone else to let this thread die... thanks.

No doubt tech! you leaving is a huge loss to this forum! You've helped me out with some of my questions on numerous of times!!! I definately agree... just cuz I argue with James doesnt mean I DISLIKE him truely... disagreements are a part of forums... it allows us to communicate on topics that everyone is not on the same side with! I definately think you need to say here for all of us ! thanks again

Sorry to see you go. I haven't been posting much here lately either because if I did I would be going off on one person in particular (a non-Owner of a Crossfire). He's a real moron that needs to go find a ricer site.

Anyway.... Please check in from time to time. Things may change here and the enthusiasts will once again dominate the forum. I know how this car performs and am getting tired of morons that don't have first hand knowledge (just read a few lousy reviews) and come in here saying what the car can and can't do. I've fought some battles and I'm over it too. Kind of takes the fun out of it..... But I'm hanging in because the vast majority of people here are really good folks.

Default me too!

Crossfire...strange as it may sound, I too would hate to see you drop off. You DO have a strong knowledge of the car that folks find invaluable.

Even though my car is gone, right thing for me to do, I still enjoy what it is, still check in here to see what's going on, and don't rule out ownership again some day. I actually liked the look of the black Crossfire lite at the NY car show with the blacked out side grill and the blacked out windshield surround...who knows.

I don't post anymore because, frankly, as a non-owner I really don't have a lot to add, but as a former owner I have a lot of interest to follow the car. Come to think of it, some of you probably think that when I WAS an owner I didn't have much to add!!!

I still enjoy reading your posts, and those of others with whom we had (what I hope are now appropriately in context) essentially harmless p*ssing contests.

It's a forum, a give and take of ideas. I would hope that ALL forums don't exclude enthusiasts that are non-owners, but indeed sometimes a non-owner hops onto a board and dominates conversation without having any useful first hand knowledge of the car. That's too bad.

Anyway, I'm still lurking and reading...my guess is that you won't be able to resist as well.

Looking forward to your posts soon..

Todd

This forum is what you make it. Don't concern yourself with peoples opinions, the only one that matters is your own.
Speaking of opinions, here is mine. Editing your posts with XX is like picking up your toys and running home to mommy. Come on CF tech your are better than that aren't you? If not, c ya.
It is what it is.

No kidding. Y'all can fawn all over crossfiretech all you want to, but going back and editing out the TSB's and such is sad, and childish.

He helped me out a lot before I got my service manual. And I thank him for that.

But, if he Xed out the TSBs that's not cool. :? I'm really disappointed in that.... I'm sure one of our other Tech.s can get the numbers and post them for us.

Every month or so some member gets upset, and makes some sort of big scene saying how they are going to be leaving, blah, blah blah. Normally I try to talk to them and get them to stay. No more. It's so childish and immature, if they want to leave, fine. I don't need to be wasting my time on it...
