Yes, yes I know it's absolutely filthy. I'll wash it as soon as it's above freezing.

Haha, no. I actually just washed it yesterday. I think my neighbors think I've lost it. I'm the only person I've ever seen who hand washes their car year round.

It's just outside of Bozeman, MT. It's really pretty here, just uh... cold.

Sports car + mountains + snow + skiing. Brings back fond memories of my 1974 TR6 (also equipped with ski rack and optional hard top) that I used to drive into VT back in the early 70s. For a RWD, it did great in the snow due to the 15" snow tires. It even made a trip to Mt Tremblant north of Montreal and endured a night of -30o F weather after which it needed a jump start (my first lesson on the value of block heaters). The bad news, the rear fenders completely rotted through after about five winters of driving on salted roads, which is why my XFs go into hibernation in MI just before the snow flies.

While I admit that the winter driving eventually takes it's toll, it's a price I'm willing to pay to get so much enjoyment everyday.

Thanks! I try to go snowboarding once or twice a week seeing as I already forked out the money for the pass, so I'm sure that I'll have some more chances to snap a winner.

Where are you at? I haven't even seen another Crossfire since I test drove one in Bozeman back in the early summer. I'm using the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D tires and I couldn't be happier. The tires are what makes the difference. I think you'd be surprised of how well the car does in poor weather when it's wearing the right shoes.

Hi I'm in the flathead, Polson. The wife and I test drove one in Spokane this fall. I'd been looking for the "right" one for a year and a half. Just wanted to see if I really liked the car then found one here on the forum. We reallly like the car. Maybe I'll break down later and get some snows for it. We should get together some time.

Depending on the timing we may be able to come home and do a rally. How about a Crossfire drive around the lake?
