Panamera spoiler
i think something like this would look sick on the Xfire, and by that i mean
the way it extendes to the sides, not the actual model airplane looking spoiler.

I saw a Panamera buzzing down the autobahn in Germany last year and I dont recall seeing a spoiler on it of any kind..... I thought the car looked pretty nice..... I also think the SRT6 spoiler is better looking than the one posted above....
Mike I agree with you on both points. Don't recall the exact numbers that the Panamera put up but I remember they were impressive for a four passenger auto.

All panameras are equipped with a deployable wing. Only the Turbo and other uplevel trims get the "split" deploying wing.

It would "spoiler" the look of the car....and what is a Panamera? That some kind of new camera?....lol
Did I tell you I had a new horse...I may never work on the cars again....I'm liking my new HP>........

what kind of mods are you planning????

One side of my family are diehard Porsche fans. I was invited to Annapolis Porsche's Panamera launch party 2 years ago. Not the prettiest piece in the world but the stats and the sound (esp. the Turbo) are awe inspiring. As said, true supercar with room for 4 and their junk.

is there any actual proof that a spoiler on the back of our cars do anything beneficial? I think this whole spoiler craze is ridiculous. I would much racher keep the auto spoiler on my car over a stationary spoiler any day. I would never add any kind of spoiler to a car that never had one. Just my thoughts. To each their own I guess.
Actually there is, in the factory Crossfire manuals (not the owners manual) it states that fully deployed wing will exert 40 lbs. of down force at 80 MPH. While that doesn't sound like much, it should be just about right to stabilize the read of the car and add just enough pressure on the tires to keep good contact with the road. I'm sure the same holds true with the Panamera wing.
That wing looks like a typically well-engineered piece of Mercedes handy work and a fairly expensive piece to employee on a vehicle. Somehow, I don’t think they went to that much effort for marketing’s sake. But, then one would wonder why the SRT needs a large permanent wing, or the monster wing on that 911?
