Default Difficulty Getting Out of Drive

Hey everyone.

Just to recap, I have an 07 with 5,000 miles that I just bought. I just put it into storage but while driving it around to air the tires and such, I noticed something strange. I began to have issues taking it out of drive and into park. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but when I wanted to put it into park, the shifter didn't want to move until I put some force behind to get it out. Any thoughts?

It should move relatively easy. Mine does. Perhaps there is a problem with the shifter or cable? Could be the brake safety override too. You would have to check around in there and see.

I called my local Chrysler dealer to order the Headlight Condensation service kit and had them check on my warranty. Thankfully, I still have 11 months left on my warranty so I'll probably have them take a look.

The brake safety switch seems like the most likely culprit but I'm confused as to why it would allow me to go out of park with no problem but not like it when I went out of drive? Interesting regardless. I'll keep you guys updated!

I'm also really pumped to fix the condensation problem. Every time that I've taken it out, I'm greeted with extensive fog in both headlights lower corners closest to the grille. Foggy headlights are my biggest pet peeve when it comes to cars.
