So now you say you can do it for $19 plus $11 = $30?
Let me hear more.

Brake Pads - $310
Air Filters - $163
Battery Replacement - $280
"B" Service - $650

I fell like going in there yelling and screaming RAPE!, RAPE! at the top of my lungs.

Seriously can anyone be trusted with servicing our cars for a reasonable price??

Thanks for reading my rant, just had to let it out!
Shouldn't replacing the air cleaners be part of "B" Service?

I just got a quote of $222.00 from a 5 Star Dealer for a "B" Service. I know he can't have covered everything and it is a verbal quote. No way he's changing the coolant, plugs, fuel and air filters and an oil change for that. Not to mention the remaining cursory inspection. I plan of following up on this.

I'm late for this party, but I'm learning.

I guessed it was a typo, but I thought I would pull your leg.

Cheapest oil/filter change for me has been $48. Not always that cheap, but that is the cheapest.

I've seen Mobile one 0w40 for under $4 --- but that is at auto supply stores on special -- not as part of an oil change service. My Chrysler dealer (former that is) only charged $69 last time I went in, but it wasn't necessarily Mobile one -- it was however an "equivalent synthetic oil" and seem to be when I looked up the codes to make sure they weren't screwing things up with improper oil for the engine.

Mine is due for a change soon, but I'll be doing it myself -- with Mobil One that I got on sale at AdvanceAuto for about $3.79 a quart -- with a free fleese filter as well when you buy at least 4 quarts.
