Default bad news, my cup came in!

ok, i knew it was kinda dumb to spend the money on the special chrysler "travel tumbler" but i figured what the hell.

first it was on back-order for a couple of months but it finally showed up today. out of all the cups i've used in the crossfire, this is the first one that the crossfire cupholder can't handle. amazing.

seems they designed it to taper down so the bottom is narrower than the top and, although it will sit in the holder in straight and level flight, it comes loose in even a fairly gentle turn.

oh well.

Well then... keep it in "Straight and Level" flight!!! It's "almost" a straight shot west to Santa Monica. Make a few slow banks and you'll be okay.

The tall black Alladin mug that 7-11 sells fits perfect and snug. Haven't been able to toss it during a hard banking manouever yet.

I use a 52oz 7-11 "Xtreme Gulp" cup. Now THATS a coffee cup!

Fits perfectly in the natural cup-holder between my thigh and the emergency break.

Head to the nearest Benz dealer. They have a small stainless steel sippy cup with plastic top that fits perfectly in the holder. Its a tiny gulp. Scrape off the logo, no one is the wiser. 8)

My dos equis amber fits just fine in the factory cup holder

Of course I never leave the garage

I also like how it holds red bull energy drink cans! I don't think there is another OEM cup holder out there that will do that!

I <3 my crossfire

Default New cup from Chrysler

Chrysler now has a travel mug that is 6-sided that exactly fits into the Crossfire cup holder. Got mine last week.

With all the reports of the 'finish' (whether it's dye or paint) rubbing off, I'd be hesitant to try this very often.

that's the one i was talking about. narrow at the bottom and top heavy.

fill it pretty full, put it in the cupholder and then try a hard turn. it's top heavy; the narrow bottom slips and it pivots in the holder.

looks cool though.

I bought one at the local Marks & Spencer store. Have a pic in my album. It works quite well.
