I ordered the Ansa UN0827 muffler today from Ansa. I spoke with Gwen who Gary mentioned in the linked thread. Great customer service from Gwen. The muffler was only 201, and the added cost of shipping. When I spoke with Gwen she stated they still have 7 or 8 in stock. I cannot wait for it to arrive and to have installed. I am thinking a rear cat delete when I do the install!

This exhaust mod is new to me, so I'm guessing from your post that it's possible to remove permantly the rear catalytic converter with no downside on any State Emissions testing.

I'm also guessing that there are 2 cat's on an Xfire, so deleting one is okay (or should at least have some benefit)...???

I think that would depend on state and local emission requirement. I was informed yesterday that the shop wont cut the rear cats off, :-/. I will just run the Ansa for now.
