Default Worth the Wait!

Purchased the Graphite Matallic! The dealer discount and manufacturer rebate took it down to 6k below MSRP. Love the manual -feel like you're driving and not being driven.

The typical complaints are valid-cup holder,a little to much plastic, low torque in first gear, etc.

Still a pretty fun car at a decent price![/quote]

Default Rebate Expired

I thought the rebate expired 4/30//04. Am I wrong?

I was told that it went until November. That would seem unlikely unless they were including 2005's. In any event, that's what the dealership told me! Check in to it!!

the rebate still appears to be in effect (at least on some vehicles/locations). however, it is different than many other rebates in that it was supposed to apply only to half a dealer's inventory. i bought mine back in february from carmax in orlando. right now they do not list any rebates for crossfire in orlando. however, the $2500 rebate is still in effect at their norcross (atlanta) location. kind of odd. sales of the crossfire improved dramatically as a result of the rebate. it's hard to imagine that the rebate would be discontinued unless marketing has improved. also, the coupe's desirability may take somewhat of a hit with the intro of the roadster.

Default I bought the coupe 2 weeks ago

I was just wondering if the deals were getting better or worse. I put 200 not 2000 down because I was upside down 2000 on my trade and with tax I got a lease for 342.86 a month for 39 months with 12k a year in CA. Has any one done better than this? The price for the car was 30k minus the 2500 rebate.

Got mine a couple weeks ago at $289/mo. for 39 mos. with 15K/yr. Guess I did pretty well.

Does that include tax and did you put any money down?

No, tak is on top of that -- I'd have to go look up what it came out to. I also put down... ummm...

You'd think I'd remember this stuff.

I think it was somewhere in the $2000 range -- no trade-in. The dealer didn't value my Jeep nearly as highly as I do.

Not yet... Hoping it shows up before the L.A. to Monterey run in a couple of weeks. If I've got the only Crossfire there without luggage I'm not sure how I'll be able to show my face.

I suggest you call the toll free # and leave a message. They had mine routed to the wrong address. I called Thursday and they called me back Friday. Got the luggage Monday.

$299/mo, $2300down, 12k miles/year is the going deal. Sounds like you got the advertised special when you consider your trade.

We promise not to check for what kind of luggage you have...

That'd be a relief if my luggage hadn't been waiting for me when I got home. Now I can hold my head up high and proud (as long as I get out of the car first).
