tips on taking exhaust off headers?

tips on taking exhaust off headers?
can some one please give me some hints on how to take my exhaust off the headers. like what tools needed and where to get a good angle. this might be real easy but i havnt even looked at the car yet. id figured i get some input before i went out and looked. thank you for your help and time
