What do you want!
Trust me, I know "scoops".

But good suggestion for those of you driving automatics.

I think one of the things that may make it more desirable, is if you could come up with a hinged attachment that required no drilling into the hatch, and was totally hidden beneath the louvers.
Using the thinnest aluminium possible, but still thick enough so each individual louver doesn't sag would be cool too. (Nothin worse than a sagging louver).
It's a retro look that certainly isn't for everybody, but they really do a good job at keeping interior temps down, (not that our AC doesn't do it better).

It was a challange to lift it on and off myself but it was a 06 mustang, a XF would be a breeze for one guy to pop them off and on. I'll look for the company's name if it would help.

Over-all that's a cool looking side window scoop. Just a added suggestions to the design. Knowing that we already have a bad passenger blind spot, the tapered back end could use a little redesign. When in the car,you can't see the black trim paint that encircles our small rear side windows. So you could still keep the pointed tapered end that would cover the black glass trim paint. From the pointed back, just come towards the front about 1 1/2 inches then somewhat open up the scoop. You would have your view back for the passenger side and also you wouldn't cause air drag with the back being closed. Squirrel Crusher
Anybody interested in the front wing emblem (the wings themselves)? Another member needs them and it sounds like something I can do right away. I can make them out of fiberglass, and the more people want them the less money it will cost me; therefore the less it will cost the buyer. Either way I need to make a mold, which should hold up for 100 or so parts.
I didn't forget about the other ideas, in fact I'm working on an improved shifter. Still thinking about the louvers, and I don't know how comfortable I'd be making something to glue onto the glass. As for the switches/*****/buttons, I can make them for sure out of billet aluminum, anodized/powdercoated to any color, no problem. I just don't know how easily the stock ones come off.

all the switches just pop off with a pull. And I would like wing emblems the size of the one on the steering wheel. I've been looking all over for those, in chrome or brushed aluminum.

How about a front replacement grill which looks like this mock-up:

I thank you for coming forward with this .... my wish is for someone to find out for sure whether an MB 32 roadsters' folding top could be adapted/modified and used on a xFire roadster. Probably not in your expertise but I know that this could be a desirable adaptation, and would have interest by some of us. Expensive? Probably .... but what an improvement.

Does the SLK use the same "A" pillar as the Crossfire, in other words, do they share a common windshield?
