Found Some More Crossfire Haters
Well I was on you tube watching my weekly automotive subscriptions when I came this conversation. Overall this is an enjoyable radio program but far from one of my favorites. Go ahead skip to 55 minute mark if you want to witness the crossfire hood streak bashing. Personally I couldn't help but chuckle at a few of there remarks.

[quote=arado]Mine don't. I filled them with chrome peel and stick. Looks good to me and don't care what others do. It's MINE.

I honestly find it more of a compliment. I think that is cool that we all drive car that has been out of production for nearly 5 years, yet is still on the minds' car enthusiast, whether or not there remarks are good or bad, the crossfire still made a name for itself, and that says something.

The grill mod makes it work. Frankly doing just one or the other would look pretentious but since you did both, very nice effect.

I just don't get buying one kind of car when you really want another obviously.
I'm not bashing, I am just expressing what I have thought here frequently.
By all means if you love it, it is your car and you should do whatever you want. (If you ever want to sell, maybe you should unpeel and unstick)
Best wishes and enjoy your hood in the hood.

I had thought long and hard about continung the hood strake theme on my front end.
First I thought of getting a black mesh grille with chrome surround and applying some stripping.
Then I thought of painting the horizontal bits on the OEM grille black and painting the vertical strakes either in body color or something brighter (aluminum or chrome).
But after seeing your execution, I think I'd be better off getting a billet grille instead
