:shock: OK - so our drive to dinner started out quite "normal". I pulled into the parking lot of the restaurant. As I got out of the car, I noticed an Alabaster XF coming my way. He saw us and pulled over. One of the first things out of his mouth was "I'm on the forum too. So....you guys are planning a trip next week huh?" I couldn't believe it. It was LVXFIRE who works at one of our local car dealerships. He said that he saw us pull into the parking lot and that when he saw my license plate, he recognized it as my Avatar!!! :roll: Wow!!! I'm recognized everywhere :!: :wink: We had a great talk and we are sorry he won't be able to join us next week on our trip. He told us there was another XF in the parking lot and where the other Graphite XF was parked, so we put our "XF Card" on his car. When we came out of the restaurant, I saw them just getting into their car - and it looked like they were looking at our card. I started waving at them and they immediately waved back. They must have figured I was either the person who put the card on their car - or a complete fool :roll: Anyway, we ended up talking to Mr. & Mrs. rziems of our forum! That is the first time we have seen another Graphite XF. Unfortunately, they will probably not be able to join us for the trip either, but we just might have convinced him to join us. I hope so. Needless to say, we were pretty excited about this sighting!! And what made it even better - was that all 3 of us are on this forum :!: How cool is that :?:

Yesterday we saw a SSB right around the corner from our house. That makes 3 in 24 hours!!

Maybe the "cloaking" is beginning to wear off :roll:

 

I think it is that 100 degree heat that is making all the Corssfires come out to play!!!!!

..Today when cruising the loop around my city I noticed the alabaster Crossfire that I see from time to time. It was a lady driver and I waved but I don't think she saw me. Anyway the alabaster one is the only one Ive seen driving in my area (other than mine of course).

 

I've seen my 3rd RX8 today in the parking lot, didn't notice it at first because I thought it's just another ordinary car. Haven't had any Crossfire sighting yet.

 

Same with me cyril (live in scotland) I have lost count of the rx8 I have seen but, the only crossfire I ever see (other than mine) is next to the dealship.

It is a SSB and I think the pearson who owns it works around the corner as it is part in the same place everytime I see it.

In fact, I have only seen 1-2 350z since they came out last sep :twisted:

 

I see an RX8 probably every other day and a350Z once a week, but in 6 months have seen 3 other xfires, one was the press car on the M25 a week before i got mine and then two a week ago both on or near the M25.

 

Sounds like you had fun rounding up those other XF's last night ...and knowing you, I know you gave it your best shot trying to get them to sign up for the trip next week!!! Hopefully they will come out an play another day. If you plan another outing to the Valley of Fire, let us know, we'll be there. :wink: :wink: :wink:

 

My neighbor that owns an MB 230 Roadster just picked up an RX8 in that real cool electric blue metallic color. Nice color, butt ugly car.

 

I was in England 3 or 4 weeks ago and saw my first Crossfire. It was parked in a parking lot near a Church in Lincolnshire.. desided on the spot I would buy one. Got mine 2 weeks ago..My eternal thanks to Great Britton..jh
