Thanks for the replies,I think as most real cossfire lovers,The spoiler sucks in fact i would want to order without mabe,DC is listening! But all said I think the real ? was anserwed maybe $5,000 but not 10000, I think we all like theClassey looks ,And great performance For the $ spent! Remember 1.5 sec,is as fast as you can say it!Doesnt' mean that much when you really think it over.

It means 12+ car lengths.

Not me. Mine is fast enough. I have had fast cars before. I don't like the person I become in fast cars. I have been known to drive like an idiot to demonstrate to all comers what my car can do. So far, this car hasn't forced me to do that. It is why I have held off from the chip and air filter upgrades. For me the whole performance issue is a slippery slope that once I start down I can not stop.

Yeah 1.5 seconds may not sound like much, but when ur talking cars it is. Most of you sound like you're happy with your crossfire's performance, which is fine, but 1.5 seconds is quite a bit of time, not to mention the extra slam into the seat another 115 hp will create.

I wouldn't mind an SRT6, but after 2 or 3 months I'd be bored with that power and want more, its a never ending cycle, ended only by death once you have more than you can handle.

Hi...

I'd love the xtra power... but not at that premium price... and the fixed wing isn't appealing to me...

Wish the motor was available in the regular '04/Limited Edition '05 Xfires at a reasonable cost...

Hoping Chrysler comes out with their own "approved" performance enhancements...

A Limited with the supercharged engine would essentially be an SRT-6.

I would think the SRT has a new suspension setup, as well, but I don't really know.

It would be nice to find a 3.2 liter supercharged from a C32 amg or an slk32 amg but with such low production numbers for both cars, it would be nearly impossible to find a salvaged one. They arent even using those engines anymore except for the srt-6. M-B is getting away completely from the s-charged V6's. I wish they could have given us the new slk's V6 which has around 270 h.p.!!!! Oh well, I still like my xfire..

I am still convinced that at some point there will be an aftermarket package to increase the power of the Crossfire without having to go up to the SRT6. The #1 complaint about people who DON'T buy the xfire that are interested in it, and a major topic opf discussion here for those of that have, is how to get more oomph out of the car without spending 10k on the SRT6 (not to mention the fact there is already an established base of drivers using the N/A 3.2L, and these drivers will more than likely not have enough money to "just go buy the SRT6 if you want to go fast"). That sounds like a problem that needs a solution, and that's right up entrepeneurial America's alley.

It takes more dollars for more Horses always has,a Stock cross, is the same price per horse as the SRT,Why bother with after market it never brings up the REAL value, It usually lowers it.So real dollors out is worst if you spend them on after market.

If any of you watched the Speed Channel review of the new SRT-6, you'd see the thing in action. From what I saw, I loved it. When I first saw the fixed spoiler a couple months back, it kind of disgusted me. But now, for some odd reason, it's grown on me. The rims as well. I think that if it was up to me and I had the money, I would probably get the SRT. Like Dan Root said, they'll be worth more in the end then a regular Crossfire with an aftermarket supsercharger on it. Besides for that, I just think the new additions to the SRT are awesome. The suede seats, the front chin, and especially what the engine looks like. I'm most likely going to settle for an '04 Coupe or something along those lines, but I wouldn't mind having that SRT sitting in my garage at night.

I'm on 2 local dealers list to drive the 1st srt,I won't decide, untill I drive one.I look @ it as how much more per month! Not total cost. But it will have to be worth the extra $$ over all.If it rides bad or if i don't like the differences,I'll wait for SLK3.5.
