would you want SRT for 1.5 seconds faster?
nah - the big wing sucks - It looks uncle benzed out...
I am going to keep my head to the ground and try to find the next salvage title on a slk320 kompressor model so I can steel the parts I need to beef up the engine for a fraction of the cost...

you are right on the MONEY!!! looks like that added a couple of groves to those boomerangs...

I agree with that!!!!! Remember the Stealth wing??? Leftovers maybe??

I really don't believe that 1.4 seconds faster 0-60mph is worth $10k. If you have the money to spend and like the style of the car then it's a great option, but they're not going to be as popular or as accessible as Chrysler would want (in order to increase sales). The SRT-6 will be purely a wealthy toy purchase.
I personally like the big fixed spoiler on the rear, though. I think it makes the car more aggressive and gives a sharper rear to match the sharp hood lines. It doesn't quite juxtapose as many opposing line styles (ie curved as opposed to straight. Sharp as opposed to soft), with the spoiler on the rear. It brings the car together more, stylistically.

spoiler - sucks
upgraded power - nice
upgraded suspension - nice
suade interior - nice
I'm sure it would be a great car, I'd love to get behind the wheel of it. I'm sure they will sell out no problem. They are going to be sent out in very limited numbers.

yeah i like the thought of quicker but hey the price is out of my practical range when i already bought a car that isnt that practical if you have a family but i didbnt buy the car for practical bought the car because i loved and am still loving im very happy with what i have very happy
I really think the Crossfire is more about looks than speed. If people want speed they can buy a cheaper Asian car with little design thought. Even if I had $50k to throw away on a car I'd still choose the Limited over the SRT-6.
 I don't like the fixed spoiler. I like the way my car seems to "be alive". It seems to love to go over 60 and have the spoiler deploy. When it goes down under 40, it just seems to be resting until the next burst of energy!!
Too many cars have fixed spoilers ... they are a dime a dozen :!:
Our cars are unique

Looked into ProCharger (supercharger)... Around 5 grand, but will give anywhere (This is what they said) between 60 to 85 PERCENT increase in HP. With that big of an increase, you would wonder if the suspension or your neck
could handle it.........
The way I see it is that the automatic spoiler broadcasts to the cops that you're driving above the speed limit. Plus, the fixed broader spoiler is always giving you downforce.
James...
some thoughts..
a) Most cops don't know what speed the spoiler deploys...most probably don't know it deploys at all.
b) The spoiler can be manually deployed at any speed, so right there it invalidates the assumption of a deployed spoiler equals speeder.
c) Once the spoiler is deployed, it does not retract itself until just below 40 mph, so again seeing a spoler out might suggest that someone did go above a certain speed, but it does not mean it's being maintained.
d) Fixed spoiler equaling more downforce. Downforce is not needed all the time, actually on the highway downforce generated by a large wing is rarely 'needed', and when not needed it actually creates drag/lowers fuel economy.
I'll stick with the tasteful retractable than the butt ugly fixed wing.

And when are you ever going to do that? I'd rather brag about my bank account having more zeros than a Z owner's. Sure it would be fun to blow away a Viper with a Crossfire, but there are better things out there.
I used to crave a car that could hit 60 in 4 seconds flat, but there's no point. I'd rather have a car that looked nice and in which I enjoyed being and that was easy to maintain. I don't want to change the oil every 3,000 miles. I don't want to stop at the gas station every 250 miles. That's my reasoning at this point.

And I know it wasn't a base model since it had leather, driving lights, silver accents, etc.
