I would be pissed about being lied to, but a car sitting out overnight in a dealers secure lot is much less egregious than many other dealer faults I have heard here on the forum...
If someone came to the dealer, and decided to vandalize his car, how would the dealer have explained it to him that his car was vandalized when they told him they were going to keep it indoors?
What if he had a crazy stalker chasing after him, looking for a chance to get "even" with him, and that person destroyed his car while in their care?
They promised him that they would take care of his car, and they didn't.
If it were me, I would tell Chrysler that I want nothing from that dealer, as I am never planning on doing business with them ever again, and nothing they can offer can fix that.
If they want to give you a voucher for free services at a different dealer in your area, then go with that.
BC.
in fact they did take car of me..

I would of liked a written apology.
so i go in for my first oil change in 2 weeks wish me luck. It will be some were else . i would never go back to that dealer

I figured they'd send you a hat or something. Maybe some vouchers for a car wash; along those lines.
I guess we see now how desperate Chrysler is to maintain owner satisfaction. Now if only they could get their dealers into the same mindset. Can't tell you how many times I've been treated like a second class citizen while taking my XF in for warranty work.
I would be pissed and pick my car up and take it elsewhere. Anytime I took my srt4 to the dealership It was locked up by the mechanics I knew. When I went to pick it up one morning this is what I saw.dodge.jpg?t=1302907380
this was right outside the service window in the driveway.
Always insist your car is locked up

rvd4now, yes I feel you should be if not mad, disapointed. Yes you drive a Crossfire just as I do, but to me It's my Viper. If I owned a Viper I could not treat it any different that I do my Humble N/A. With that said I feel very fortunate that the Chrysler Dodge Dealership in Orlando that I use has a service tech that only works on Vipers and Crossfires. He does not work on grandmas caravan or grandpas 300. (sorry Osofast). I know the service tech by name along with the service writer. Yes I paid more to have all the work done on my car and I had to save for a year to purchase and have everything installed, but they could not have treated me better had I owned the Viper parked next to my car while it was in their shop. (if I could ever learn how to post pics you would see the pics of my brake upgrade with a black Viper in the background) Enjoy that free oil change.
please tell me they covered it for you.. tell me they did not make you pay..

Keep in mind that my remarks only applied to the Dealership in Orlando. I felt like a cast member in the movie Deliverance while in North Carolina dealing with a problem on my sons Crossfire at a Chrysler dealership
thats still very very sad
