Default another british review...

check out the link:

http://enjoyment.independent.co.uk/m...p?story=518775

this fool owns an audi tt which must somehow be in a totally different class of cars?

i think the funniest part is where he critiques the manual control of the spoiler as childish. i guess this moron fails to realize that every once in a while it might be nice to lubricate the moving parts or clean under there making the manual control somewhat useful. btw, does anyone know what "pootling" means?

Yeah, that article was really silly. That guy came into the review with a bias.

I really don't think that the European populous is to whom the Crossfire is aimed, though.

Said it befor, I think they are a bit scared. Europeans do not like german tech on a AMerican branded car.

They see the future and they are fighting against it.

They will accept in time, as Lord Percy pointed out that the reviews for the convertable are more favorable yet the biggest diff is no roof and less structureabilty

Michael Booth is a ******! Sorry, I do spend quite a bit of time in the UK (and love it).

Cars with active rear spoilers that come immediately to mind include the Ferrari Enzo, Bentley Continental GT, Buggati EB110 SuperSport, McLaren F1, Lamborghini Murcilago, Porsche 993 and the Boxster. And the VW Corrado.
I am, therefore, less than impressed with Mr. Booth's apparent credentials as a motoring expert. Consequently, (in "American"), he can bite me.

Since the idiot has a TT which, was required to add a spoiler due to its tucked under boat tail, it is amazing that he claims to be an auto reviewer but is completely ignorant of the car he owns. Why do the Brit reviewers continue to be allowed to be total idiots? The Brits should write enough letters to get these guys fired.

Folks ! though this editor donLt leave a doubt about his bias itLs hard for me to disagree in some points.

I donLt give too much thoughts about the spoiler - itLs there, it might be a gimmick - some will love him, some not - so what ?

The thing with this plastic interior is also something i really think about. I own a Daimler XJ40 and - if the britLs did everything wrong (remember British Leyland in the 70Ls *gg*) one thing they always managed - good looking interior !

Compared to my MY 88 (!!) Daimler the XF looks interiorwise really plastic and cheap but the comments of this Editor where totally overdone and far away from professional journalism.

In some people's view, yes. BUT, beats the pants off it's similarly-priced competition (RX-8, 350Z, TT, etc. interiors all feel MUCH 'cheaper' than Crossfire IMO).

I think the Xfire will work well in the UK, seem to be selling ok at the moment. Not sure on the continent of Europe though !
