Default spacers and lowering springs

hello friends,
while browsing through the computer at work i found eibach 60mm spacers with extended lugbolts in a kit for $170, and then looked and found eibach lowering springs for $305! i did my magic and got a final price of $370 plus tax.. i feel as though that is a steal and i wanna go ahead and buy them. i know 60mm is large but i LOVE the look of it on a few other cars and feel it would look great, and the spacers are only for the rear.

please leave comments or things i should know: maybe do one but not the other? go smaller? ect

this is a pic of my friend gregs Z with 60mm spacers, kinds like the look im going for

thanks,
Jason

60MM spacers will NOT work on a Crossfire. I have never heard of anyone going bigger than 20MM on the back. I have 15MM on the back and 5MM on the front. This setup puts the tires flush with the outer fender well. 60MM should put the tires about 1 3/4 inches out past the fender. You must remeber that the offset for a Crossfire is not the same as a Z.

Also, 60MM spacers are not safe, and would be murder on the wheel bearings.

Here is what 15MM looks like of the rear:

As you can see, 5MM on the front does not leave any additional room.

Andrew, I am with you.... I have 10mm front and 12mm rear with Eibach and Koni's.... perfect for me...

But I do get a little rubbing on the front with the 235/40 tires on full tight turns..

You got me thinking Andrew, and made me check..... I do have 10MM on the front instead of 5MM. I think I am getting a bit senile. LOL
