Default Good and Bad Service Call

I took my xfire into the shop this week.
Problem 1 - Wind noise from the top front of the windows.
Solution - Chrysler says that this is normal for the car. Does any one else have this issue. Sure I can just turn up the music but it is annoying at times.
Problem 2 - Hade some vibration in the drive train, namely the shift **** and the steering wheel.
Solution - ALL four tires were out of balance. They fixed this one and she drives great now.
I am still annoyed that Chrysler is saying that the wind noise is normal. I have NEVER had a car that had this issue.

There are two TSB's or Technical Service Bulletins out on Wind Noise. Have the dealer pull them up. See the TSB section of this site. It will assist you and the dealer on pulling up the right information.

If you have any further questions, please let us know.

As for the vibration, have the dealer check the transmission / motor mounts. You should not have any vibration what so ever.

Good luck.

I took it in once before and they did the first TSM, they said the "new one" was the same one they had already done. I am going to check the TSB # with the service rep to see which ones they have done to the car.
Thanks for the prompt responces!!

The vibration went away when they balanced the tires.

 I'm scared to death to take it in for wind noise for fear they will screw something else up!! How sad is that? I'd rather live with the wind noise than to take a chance ops:

Not much to screw up at all. Simple adjustment.

Took mine in for wind noise under the first TSB & tech adjusted it but didn't like the way it looked so he ordered a new weather strip. Installed new strip & no wind noise. It took about twenty minutes. So there is hope.

Chrysler isn't saying that, your Five Star Loser is saying that. Lazy MFers.

Is that the weather strip that goes on the top of the door opening? They already replaced the little triangle one on the door.
