Default new floor in garage for XF

Getting this XF has inspired me to make improvements to the garage. Here’s a few pictures of the new floor I installed today after cleaning the ENTIRE garage. Looks nice, and it really upgrades the facility a lot. The product is called G-Floor. Sam’s Club carries it; I was lucky enough to pick up two rolls of the stuff (7.5’ x 20’) on CLEARANCE today. I’ve always wanted this, and today I was more able to afford it. It was easy to lay down, and when it completely relaxes any air pockets will be flattened out.

How much if you don't mind me asking. I have been thinking about doing something like that.

I like it too. Looks very good. I do some pretty heavy duty projects in the garage and wonder how this will hold up.

Hey Blackcrossfire07, I got it on clearance for $120/roll....I think they were usually $180/roll. That’s the best price I could find for any garage floor covering that I would consider. Of course, this is at Sam’s Club in San Antonio. Not sure what other locations might have their stock priced at. Also, I took the last 2 of three rolls that were still wrapped; there was also 1 other roll that had been rewrapped in the store.

Bottom line, I think it definitely adds to the garage, and don’t mind spending the money for it.

I like it a lot, looks great with best color XF ever....

How durable is the stuff? Like Bob, I worry I will tear it up doing projects and stuff. Is there any warranty coverage on it?

Thanks for the info, I was going to with a 2 part professional epoxy, but the prep work is insane, so this is catching my eye...

Yeah, it seems pretty durable actually. They give a 5 year warranty on it. I thought about doing the epoxy thing myself; it certainly would have cost less, but the TIME to prep and risk of it peeling were factors that I did not want to deal with.

Blackcrossfire......I got mine at the Sam’s Club on I35 and Judson area. Like I said, when I got the two that I bought, there were 2 rolls left. If you are thinking about it, I wouldn’t wait too long. BTW, the “clearance” section where they are located is in the FAR right-hand corner of the store; almost behind some shelves. If you can’t find them, just ask and they can show you. Pretty good deal for $120/roll.

Having a toy car for the first time since 96 (Triumph TR6 at the time) made me update my floor as well. I went with epoxy paint in tan with flakes and clear coat, but the thought is the same. A good car needs a nice home....

I would hjave definitely done what you did if I had known it was available, but the times I looked at something similar, it was far too pricey for me.

Not sure which kit you looked at, but the cheap ones are garbage, the one I looked at was about $600, but a 10 year guarantee. This is right in line with that and MUCH cheaper than other solutions.

Thanks for the info.
