Tire and wheel mounting question ... need opinions
I have a set of snow tires mounted on Mercedes wheels that I'd like to mount on my coupe. These came with my coupe when I purchased it this spring. As you know the car has staggered wheels and tires mounted as OEM. Sizes are 225/40/18 and 255/35/19.
The snow tires are mounted on 18 inch wheels and 2 of the tires are 225/40/18, and the other 2 are 225/45/18.
What wpuld be the best way to mount these on the Crossfire to take advantage of their snow performance and look best, taking the different profiles of the tires in consideration?
My "guess" is that the 45 profiles should mount in the back, to make up for the 18 inch wheel instead of the 19 incher, and fill in the wheel well better, cosmetically speaking.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts and opinions .....

Actually there's such a small difference that I'd use whichever set had the best tread in the rear. Straight 18's don't have that "sexy" look on these cars (IMO). Might as well just slum it with the snows.

Type in the two tire sizes to see the comparison.
