Reintroduction of crossfire

I hope they don't, I like the fact that our car only had one generational design. That's how our design still manages to look fresh, to this day.

I've also heard from a car mag about a year ago that the yet to be released new Alfa Romeo(Fiat) Spider would be the most likely candidate for a new Crossfire.
I've always like the Spiders so it wouldn't be a bad thing to me.
And since the span between our generation and the next, I too hope the cars would be considered as two different models and not fall into the mantra of "old one's bad, new one's better".
The only negative I've ever heard about our cars are that they are underpowered. Those folks who made comments like that must have liked our cars enough to hold them in such high regards that they expected Ferrari performance out of them. SRT's are no slugs.

Crossfire® is a registered trademark of Chrysler Corporation LLC
Fiat got the intellectual property that Daimler waived in the split. Yes, this could happen legally.

If the new 'Crossfire' comes with a decent cup holder it really can't be called a Crossfire. Traditions have to be kept up.

High end Italian cars like Ferriari, Lambo, and Bugatti, their reputation precedes them.
But a Xfire sitting on top of a Fiat assembly.
Spare me the pain, I'd take my German built Xfire any day of the week.
The last Fiat I owned, okay it was in the late 70's, when I stepped in the car one day, my foot went right thru the floor board.
When I put it on a lift, I could punch holes in it's cross frame with my index finger.
Early Fiats were famous as rust buckets...lol...
I'm sure Fiat has come along a bit since then, but nobody builds cars like the Germans for the general market...

FORD put the Mustang label on a lot of crap.
They also stuck the Thunderbird Label on a Granada.
The old models did not loose their image over these corruputions.
Our Crossies will be fine.

I had 2 x/19 and an Alfetta about 30 years ago. Like the CF they were unique and a joy to drive.
When I was too busy to watch grass grow, I could watch the Alfetta rust.
There's always something to talk about when you own an Italian car.

The fat Fiat rep in the corner just shouted "Ehi, BlueMax! Stato, gią fatto". Translation: been there, done that.
"That" was the Alfa Romeo 8C Competitizone. They had a limited run of 500 in 2009. And Jeremy Clarkson ripped it to bits in his review
